About the Event
Starting from Lee Valley VeloPark in Queen Elizabeth Park, we quickly head out of town and onto quieter country roads. Essex will surprise you with its picturesque villages and quiet lanes, winding through gently rolling countryside. After stops along the way, with lunch by Mountnessing windmill, we reach the Finish in the pretty gardens of Priory Park, Southend with live music, refreshments, beer tent and a well-earned medal!
52 miles / 65 miles (optional extension via Shoeburyness). Southend Victoria railway station is close by with trains every 20 minutes back to London - bikes go free! Riders who registered for the 2020 ride will be transferred to the new date automatically.
